Who doesn’t love the festive traditions of the holiday season? And.. choo-choo trains? G-Scale model trains.
Trains run from Thanksgiving through December 24. Weather permitting, trains will run on five tracks every evening ( Except Mondays) from 6:30 to about 9:00 at 2387 Adele Avenue (third house from Thompson Avenue).
OUR DISPLAY CHANGES NIGHTLY: we have over 100 unique trains, locomotives and railcars.
Since 1977, our simple Mackay home has become a beloved attraction for neighbors and visitors from the Bay Area and beyond, even drawing in people from various countries. “We come every night because we are obsessed with trains,” says one enthusiastic fan.
“It’s a tradition now. It’s wonderful to see the kids come up, talking to you and asking questions. I do this, and everyone has fun!”
Trains, which start running when it gets dark and continue until about nine each night, right up until the day after Christmas.
