Mohawk Arches

Welcome to Mohawk Drive in Livermore, California! Many of our street residents have lived here for 5-10 years, some are original owners. It was not until COVID that we found friendship, peace, and community in one another in a time of challenge and solitude. What started as something fun Nicole Garrett asked her husband to build in 2021, quickly became a theme for the street…lit up arches. We think of the arches as a symbol of unity and love, and enjoy seeing how the Mohawk tradition is spreading throughout our neighborhood! We were featured on CBS news and it was so fun to share in this holiday spirit with one another, especially the kids on the street. In 2022 the Livermore Wine Trolley added our street to their route and now on Fridays during the holiday season - Santa along with some friendly elves make an appearance to hand out candy canes. We are counting down the days to seeing the cars drive down our street and spread Christmas joy! In 2024 we topped out at 22 arches and hope to beat that number this year!
