Description:

We grew up in a small town in central/coastal California and like many towns we had a "Candy Cane Lane". As children we very much enjoyed seeing all the lights and it made our Christmas’ magical. So, in 2012 we decided to change our yard display to something grander and in honor of our "Candy Cane Lane". After all, if the people back then could take the time to make Christmas magical for us, we should return the favor to kids, young and old, today.

In 2017 we re-landscaped our front yard and removed our lawn. I was worried we would have to stop doing our Christmas display, but instead it is even more magical this year. We added a dry stream bed, which runs blue with LED lights, A small wishing well with a friendly penguin wishing you Merry Christmas, a Christmas mouse sitting on a wooden bridge, Santa and his helpers are climbing up the front of our house (Thank you Gary Vistalli), and most all of our lights have been replaced with LED’s. Our display is an assortment of plywood painted cut outs, blow-ups, lights, and other types of displays with a few pieces to remember our time in New Mexico, like a chili pepper wreath. We even have a couple of Star of David for Hanukah.

It is truly humbling to hear people drive by and say thank you or it looks great, and it touches my heart to see small children walking with a parent hand in hand as the child looks up in awe. We sincerely hope that we can brighten your Christmas season and spread the joy and love of Christmas to you and your family. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and a Happy New Year filled with good people, good times and good health.
